One of the known landmarks of Castellon is its popular park, the Ribelta Park. It is actually the oldest park in the city. It was well preserved by the local municipality as well as the residents Castellon themselves. The Crafts and Alternative Lifestyles Fair showcases Castellon s finest products that are made by the populace of the city. Without a doubt, the fair exudes the intrinsic talent and unique artistry of the people of Castellon . This fair is held in the central walkway of the park during the feast of Santa Maria Magdalena.
Another notable avenue is King James Avenue . It was aptly called such because it was named after Avenida del Rey D. Jaime (James I, the Conqueror). It s a place with modern establishments and towering buildings. It houses the Post and Telegraph Office and the Secondary School Francisco of Ribalta . School Francisco is actually home to a grandeur collection of beautiful frescos done by the residents themselves. The paintings depict the arts and sciences. The statue of King James also stood proud in the said avenue. Castellon local prime artist, José Viciano , did this amazing sculpture.
